Terms and Conditions for SoundCarrier:
Scope of Application These General Terms and Conditions (AGB) govern the use of the SoundCarrier platform (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you accept these AGB in their respective valid version. If you do not agree with these conditions, you are not allowed to use the Platform.
User Account 2.1. In order to use the Platform, you must create a personal user account. Providing truthful information during registration is mandatory. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and you are liable for all activities carried out through your user account. 2.2. You are not authorized to transfer your user account to third parties or grant third parties access to your user account.
Upload of Content 3.1. Each user can upload their own content, such as DJ sets and tracks, to SoundCarrier. You are responsible for all content you upload and confirm that you have all necessary rights to such content. 3.2. You agree that SoundCarrier may remove or block content that violates applicable laws, copyrights, or other rights of third parties. 3.3. You agree that SoundCarrier may use content for internal purposes, such as improving the platform or creating statistics, without infringing upon your copyrights.
Usage Rights 4.1. By uploading content to SoundCarrier, you grant SoundCarrier a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable right to use, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, and edit such content for the operation and promotion of the Platform. 4.2. You retain ownership of all copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the content you upload.
Code of Conduct 5.1. You are obligated to use the Platform in compliance with applicable laws and these AGB. 5.2. You may not upload content that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, threatening, discriminatory, racist, or illegal. 5.3. You are required to respect the rights of other users and not upload content that infringes upon the rights of third parties, such as copyrights or trademarks.
Disclaimer 6.1. SoundCarrier does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the content on the Platform. 6.2. SoundCarrier shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Platform or the content uploaded by other users, unless they result from gross negligence or intent on the part of SoundCarrier.
Changes to the AGB SoundCarrier reserves the right to change these AGB at any time. Changes will become effective upon publication of the revised AGB on the Platform. It is your responsibility to regularly review the AGB and ensure that you agree to the current conditions.
Final Provisions These AGB are subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes relating to these AGB is Nuremberg, to the extent legally permissible.
